Kate McNally, Physiotherapist

Kate has been a runner since her early days, joining her local running club aged 13. Kate has ran and swam competitively since the age of 11 and represented Nottingham city in cross country in her late teens.

Kate went on to study Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Metropolitan University where she decided to try out Triathlon and incorporate the bike.

Kate competed in a number of events throughout her undergraduate studies in Leeds ranging from biathlons, hills climbs, cyclocross, duathlons and sprint and endurance triathlons for the university Triathlon club.

In 2012, Kate undertook her first marathon and since then has made this her yearly challenge, shaving minutes from her PB each year.

You don’t have to be great, but you do have to tri!

Kate undertook further studies at Manchester Metropolitan University where she swam long course events for the university and has since graduated in Physiotherapy.

Kate now helps with the running of our Trinamics service whilst working as a Junior Physiotherapist.
